Farewell Gathering for Ms. Sandy Han

KOLex executive members gathered together to send off Sandy Han who was a previous executive board member. We presented a custom mug, blanket, and and a thank you card. We appreciate her hard work for KOLex and wish her all the best.

“My American Story” Webinar

Tonight, the “My American Story” webinar was held.
The event was presented by CALex (Chinese Americans of Lexington) and was cosponsored in part by KOLex. There were seven panelists who shared their stories as Asian Americans. Susie Lee-Snell, co-founder and former president of KOLex gave a speech and talked about KOLex’s origins, KOLex’s role, and her own experience as an Asian American. We thank Susie Lee-Snell who attended as a panelist.

오늘 저녁 “My American Story” Webinar 있었습니다.
CALex(Chinese Americans of Lexington)가 주최하고 KOLex등 8개 단체가 후원하는 이 행사에는 각 단체에서 7명의 패널이 참석하여 Asian American으로서 겪은 경험을 공유하였습니다. KOLex에서는 Co-founder이자 전 회장이신 Susie Lee-Snell님이 대표로 참석하여 KOLex를 만든 이유와 역할 그리고 본인의 감동적인 스토리를 공유해 주셨습니다. 참석해 주신 Susie Lee-Snell님께 다시 한번 감사드립니다.

Second KOLex High School Parents’ Webinar

Members of KOLex with children in high school in different grades held a second online webinar about high school .

During the webinar, they discussed information about school life and classes, summer camps, and preparing for colleges. We thank everyone who attended!

KOLex 내 고등학생 자녀를 두신 회원분들이 모여 2차 온라인 세미나를 가졌습니다. 자녀들의 학교 생활 및 수업, 썸머 캠프, 대학 원서 준비 등에 관한 회원분들의 소중한 경험과 의견을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 참석해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.

Flat Patriots for Virtual Patriots Day Parade

Acting President Bo Kyung Shin participated in the Flat Patriots event for the 2021 Patriots Day Parade as a KOLex representative. KSLC members also decorated Flat Patriots and made a video.

2021년 Virtual Patriots Day Parade 행사 중 하나인 Flat Patriots 행사에 회장 대행 신보경씨가 KOLex를 대표하여 참여하였고, KSLC 학생들도 동영상을 제작하였습니다.
