Korean-American Organization of Lexington

KOLex held an online meeting with the parents of high school students. In the meeting, they had a Q&A about school classes, the Activities Fair, community service, the SAT, and the ACT. They also shared their experience with their children’s stress management and how they could help as parents.
We thank everyone who attended the meeting.

코렉스 내 하이 스쿨 자녀를 두신 회원분들의 온라인 미팅이 있었습니다. 이번 미팅에서는 학교 수업, Activities Fair, Community Service, SAT/ACT 등에 관한 질의 응답 시간을 가졌으며, 스트레스 관리와 부모의 역할 등에 관한 경험을 서로 공유하는 유익한 시간을 가졌습니다.

KOLex held a semi-annual 2021-2022 fall meeting.
All the past events that KOLex hosted and participated in during the pandemic year were explained, along with the KSLC (KOLex Student Leadership Council) selection, and about the KOLex scholarship.
We were happy to meet new members and appreciate all for coming.

2021-2022 가을 정기 모임이 있었습니다. 이번 모임에서는 지난 한 해 KOLex가 주최했던 많은 행사들을 소개하고, KSLC 모집, 장학생 선발 등에 관해 설명하였습니다. 또 자녀들의 학교 생활에 관한 질의 응답 시간도 가졌습니다.
신입 회원분들을 포함한 참석해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.

KOLex participated in a Korean Independence Day Event held at Hastings Park. Students volunteered to help run the event.
We appreciate everyone who came to attend the event!

렉싱턴 헤이스팅스 파크에서 열린 광복절 기념 행사에 코렉스 부스를 만들어 참가하였고, 우리 학생들도 발런티어로 행사 진행을 도왔습니다.

KOLex executive members had their first 2021-2022 online meeting. They discussed group chat management, amending bylaws, recruitment of new KSLC students, and future events.

2021-2022년도 1차 임원진 온라인 회의가 있었습니다.
이번 회의에서는 단톡방 운영, Bylaws 수정, KSLC 학생 모집과 향후 이벤트에 관해 논의하였습니다.

KOLex executive members gathered together to send off Sandy Han who was a previous executive board member. We presented a custom mug, blanket, and and a thank you card. We appreciate her hard work for KOLex and wish her all the best.

코렉스 전임원이셨던 Sandy Han님께서 렉싱턴을 떠나시게 되어, 그동안 코렉스를 위해 수고해 주신 것에 대한 감사의 마음으로 소정의 선물을 드리고 환송하였습니다.
