Korean-American Organization of Lexington

KSLC members and their parents distributed care baskets to Lexington public schools and the communities from 11/16 to 11/23.
Through the care baskets, KOLex was able to show the appreciation they had fo the community and was able to share more about KOLex and the Korean community.
We appreciate the KSLC members, their parents, and the executive members.

11월 16일부터 11월 23일까지 각 학교과 관공서에 Care basket을 전달하였습니다.
전달은 KSLC 학생들과 학부모님들께서 수고해 주셨습니다.
이번 Care Basket 전달로 커뮤니티를 위해 일하시는 분들께 감사를 표현할 수 있었고 더불어 KOLex와 Lexington에 사는 한인에 대해 알리는 좋은 계기가 되었습니다.
다시 한번 KOLex 모든 회원분들과 수고해주신 KSLC 학생들, 학부모님들 그리고 임원진들께 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.

The executive members as well as the parents of the KSLC(KOLex Student Leadership Council) packed care baskets to distribute to the Lexington community. They included handmade thank you cards made by the KSLC, Korean snacks, masks, sanitizer, among other things.
We appreciate the KSLC members and the members who participated in packing the care baskets.

KOLex 임원들과 KSLC(KOLex Student Leadership Council)학생들의 어머님들이 모여서 각 학교와 관공서에 전달할 Care Basket을 포장하였습니다. Care basket안에는 KSLC 학생들이 직접 만든 감사 카드와 한국 스낵, 마스크, Sanitizer등을 넣었습니다.
감사 카드를 만든 KSLC 학생들과 포장에 참석해주신 분들께 감사드립니다.

The AAPI History Inclusion Benefit Concert was held at Lexington High School. Boston Korean Traditional Dance Group performed a fan dance on behalf of KOLex and the Korean community.

We thank the dance group and the KOLex executive committee who attended the event.

렉싱턴 하이 스쿨에서 AAPI History Inclusion Benefit Concert가 열렸습니다. 코렉스에서는 한국 문화를 대표하는 부채춤 무용팀을 초청하여 멋진 공연을 하였습니다.

KOLex participated in the annual No Hate November event hosted by the LHRC(Lexington Human Rights Committee). Bokyung Shin represented KOLex as the president and created a greeting video about “kindness and empathy over hate”.
We thank President Bokyung Shin for her hard work.

There was a Korean Kimchi Festival held by the Korean American Society of Massachusetts at Hastings Park in Lexington. KSLC (KOLex Student Leadership Council) members volunteered at different activity booths like Kimchi making demonstrations, Korean traditional games, trying Korean spicy foods, among others.
We thank all KSLC and KOLex members who participated in this event.

보스턴 한인회가 주최한 김치 페스티벌이 렉싱턴 헤이스팅스 파크에서 열렸습니다. KSLC(KOLex Student Leadership Council) 학생들이 참석하여 김치 만들기 시연, 김치 및 한국 음식 판매, 제기 차기, 매운 음식 먹기 등 다양한 이벤트의 진행을 돕는 자원 봉사를 하였습니다.
한국 문화를 알리는 뜻깊은 행사에 자원 봉사를 해준 KSLC 학생들과 참석해 주신 KOLex 회원분들께 감사드립니다.
