Prestige Institute was invited by KOLex and they held a webinar about preparing for college. In this webinar they talked about the SAT/ACT and how to apply to colleges during the pandemic. We would like to thank the staff of Prestige Institute and the KOLex members who attended this webinar.

Prestige Institute를 초청하여 KOLex 회원을 대상으로한 온라인 대학 입시 설명회를 개최하였습니다.
SAT/ACT 설명, 지난 대학 입시 결과 분석, 그리고 COVID-19 팬데믹으로 인한 입학 사정 변동 추세등에 대한 강연을 듣고 질의 응답 시간도 가졌습니다.
유익한 강연을 해주신 Prestige Institute 원장님들과 참석해 주신 회원분들께 감사드립니다.

The KOLex scholarship award ceremony was held today. Two high school applicants, Kyuho Lee and Youngseo Yi, were selected and given Certificates of Scholarship and scholarship money. They worked hard during several hosted events and as Korean representatives for Lexington’s international events. Congratulations to the two of them!

오늘 코렉스 장학금 수여식이 있었습니다. 장학금을 신청한 학생들 중 KOLex가 주최한 이벤트와 렉싱턴 타운의 인터내셔널 행사 등에서 한국과 관련된 봉사 활동을 성실히 한 우수 학생 두 명을 선발하였습니다.
렉싱턴 고등학교 12학년에 재학 중인 이규호 학생과 이영서 학생에게 장학 증서와 장학금을 전달하였습니다.
선발된 두 학생 모두 축하합니다.

KOLex held an online semi-annual meeting. In the meeting KOLex presented about events and webinars held after the fall meeting, discussed COVID-19 and the vaccine, as well as held a Q&A session about student’s school experiences.
We thank all those who attended the meeting.

이번 봄 정기 모임에서는 지난 KOLex에서 주최했던 이벤트, webinar등에 관한 소개를 하고 COVID-19과 백신에 관한 주제로 이야기 했으며, 자녀들의 학교 생활에 관한 Q&A 시간도 가졌습니다.

KOLex held a webinar with Dr. Samjoo Doh about the basics of Social Security for KOLex members. He gave a talk on Social Security, 401K, and IRA as well as held a Q and A session.

Members of KOLex who have children in high school as well as parents who have children that are upcoming ninth graders held an online webinar.

During the webinar, they discussed topics such as what high school life was like during the pandemic, how to sign up for courses, participating in clubs, as well as information on the high school in general.

KOLex 내 고등학생 자녀를 두신 회원분들과 8학년 중학생(upcoming 9th grader) 자녀를 두신 회원분들이 함께 모여 온라인 세미나를 가졌습니다.
코로나 팬데믹 상황에서 현재 자녀들의 학교 생활과 2021~22년의 과목 선택 및 교내 클럽 활동등 전반적인 고등학교 생활에 관한 많은 정보들을 서로 공유하였습니다.
