Care Basket 행사에 관한 보스턴코리아 기사입니다.

The executive committee had their third meeting, where they discussed how they would conduct the auction and how they would divide the profits of the auction for donation.

In addition, they also talked about events that they wanted to have with KOLex and the KSLC.

Also, Sandy Han, KOLex representative for Lexington’s Diversity Advisory Council, discussed what was talked about during the meeting with the other board members.

오늘 3차 임원진 회의에서는 온라인 옥션의 진행 방법과, 수익금 기부의 납부 방법에 대해 논의하였습니다.

아울러 이번 회의에서는 KOLex와 KSLC가 주최할 향후 이벤트에 대해서도 논의하였습니다.

또한, KOLex의 대표로 렉싱턴 타운의 Diversity Advisory Council의 정기 회의에 참석하신 Sandy Han님께서 회의 내용을 임원진에게 전달해 주셨습니다.

The students from the KSLC made a promotional video for the KOLex online auction, that will be used as fundraising for the care baskets.
We’d appreciate it if many of KOLex’s members could participate!

KSLC 학생들이 Care baskets 펀드 레이징을 위한 KOLex 온라인 옥션을 홍보하기 위해 동영상을 제작하였습니다.
온라인 옥션에 많은 회원분들의 참여 부탁드립니다.

During November 5th to 6th, the sixteen care baskets were distributed to each of the Lexington public schools, fire departments, police department, the library among other facilities. 

The school’s liaisons, the KSLC students, as well as the board members worked together to distribute the baskets. 

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, distributing the care baskets was a meaningful event to spread the gratitude KOLex felt toward the Lexington schools and community. 

11월 5일부터 11월 6일까지 이틀에 걸쳐 렉싱턴의 각 초, 중, 고등학교와 소방서, 경찰서, 도서관 등 15곳에 Care basket을 전달하였습니다.

Care basket 전달은 KOLex 회원들을 대표하여 각 학교의 컨택 포인트들과 KSLC 학생들, 그리고 임원진께서 수고해 주셨습니다.

COVID-19 팬데믹으로 힘든 시기, 렉싱턴 학교와 커뮤니티를 위해 수고해 주시는 모든 분들께 감사함을 전하는 뜻깊은 행사였습니다.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, KOLex board members and some KOLex members gathered on November 5th to pack care baskets for each of the Lexington Public Schools, fire departments, the police department, as well as other places in the community. Each care basket contained thank you cards created by the KSLC, KF 94 masks, dental masks, hand sanitizer, as well as chocolate. 

With the sixteen completed baskets, KOLex is planning to distribute the baskets with help from the board members, the KSLC members, as well as the school liaisons. 

11월 5일 COVID-19 팬데믹 상황으로 인한 인원수 제한으로, 임원진들과 포장 봉사를 자원하신 코렉스 회원들이 모여 각 초, 중, 고등학교를 비롯한 소방서, 경찰서 등의 관공서에 전달할 Care basket를 포장하였습니다. Care basket에는 KSLC 학생들이 만든 감사 카드와 KF 94 마스크, 덴탈 마스크, 손세정, 그리고 초코렛을 넣었습니다.

포장이 완성된 Care basket 16개는 임원진, KSLC 학생들 그리고 각 학교 컨택 포인트들과 함께 LPS와 관공서에 전달할 예정입니다.
