DESCRIPTION:Date & Time: Tuesday\, November 10th\, 8:00p.m. on Zoom \nPlease make a list and let an executive member know if you have any unused/slightly used items\, books\, and children’s items that you would be willing to auction off by November 8th. The auctioneer can choose to donate all the profits from the auction or a part of it to make care baskets for the Lexington community in KOLex’s name. With the COVID-19 pandemic\, our goal is to give thanks to essential workers who have been helping the community run. In the care baskets there will be masks\, hand sanitizers\, snacks\, and thank you cards. \nWe are looking for volunteers who would be willing to make thank you cards. Elementary\, middle\, and high schoolers are welcomed\, and community service hours will be given to high schoolers who participate (one hour for four cards). Elementary and middle schoolers only need to make one or two cards. Materials will not be provided to students making cards. \nPlease email kolexlexington@gmail.com if you are interested in making cards by October 30th. DESCRIPTION:Information about The KOLex Scholarship\nApplicants must be the child of a KOLex member who had paid the membership fee for the 2020-2021 school year\, and must be a 12th grader for the 2020-2021 school year.  The scholarship award is for $200 each for two students.
